Busy weekend...

What a weekend we had!  I had to work on Saturday for 4 whole hours (good thing I didn't have to pay a babysitter!) and then we had to go to my niece's birthday party.  We had a great time at the party.  We got to visit and chat with family - mine happens to be very close - got to see almost all of my nieces and nephews and spend some time not having to worry about the little things.  Mackenzie was in her element - hanging out with the bigger girls, who thankfully included her in what they were doing.  Xander hung around with my mom or with my best friends mom when he wasn't with me or his father.  There's not a whole lot for a lone 2-year-old to do, so he took us on walks to see the garden and stuff like that.  At least they both behaved and didn't pitch their fits which are becoming famous - or should I say infamous - and a bit tiresome.  We played mad-libs for a little while and then switched to cards.  It was a long and almost completely fun day (I did have to work in the morning after all!).

We had a little bit of a lazy day on Sunday.  Pat finally packed up his camera to have it shipped to get fixed.  I have to mail it out tomorrow.  I did laundry and took Mackenzie grocery shopping with me.  I also scrubbed down the bathroom and the livingroom but didn't overexert since Pat decided that he was going to lay on the couch and do just about nothing all day.

I have some calls to make in the morning and I have to put my AVON order in, so my morning will be busy with paperwork and then I have to go to work and run around like a nut filling prescriptions and being nice to people I don't like {sigh}.  What a life...
